Trichur, also known as Thrissur, is a city located in the midland regions of the South Indian state, Kerala. Nearest Airport
The nearest airport to Trichur is the Cochin International Airport, which is 58 km away. Also known as Nedumbassery Airport, it is strategically located, providing an easy access from all three national highways 47, 17, and 49. Around 20 airlines ply on a daily basis, such as Air India, Jet Airways, IndiGo, Indian Airlines, Spice Jet, amongst others, catering to both domestic and international terminals. There are five hotels that lie in the 200 m terminal complex. Waiting passengers can engage in some duty free shopping and dine in at the multi-cuisine restaurant or small cafs and sandwich corners.

Nearest Railhead
Thrissur Railway Station, on the route of the railway line that connects the Southern part of Kerala with the rest of India, is one of the busiest railway stations in Kerala (managing 20,000 passengers on an average) and provides trains to three different directions. The railway station is situated in the town itself, making it convenient for all kinds of passengers. Public services waiting room, dormitory, baggage rooms, restrooms, and ATM are made available at the railway station.

Road Connectivity
Trichur has a well-linked road network. The national highway NH-47 puts Trichur on the North-South Corridor, connecting it to all the major towns and cities of Kerala as well as India. Three state highways - 69, 22, and 75 also provide network to the nearby towns. Kerala State Road Transportation Corporation's (KSRTC) interstate and inter-district bus services operate to and from Trichur on a frequent basis.
