Day 1: Arrival at Chennai
Upon arrival at the airport/railway station our representative will assist and transfer you to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 2: Chennai - Tirupati
After breakfast at the hotel you will be driven to Tirupati (140 km). Tirumala Tirupati is a temple and pilgrim town, known for the temple of Lord Venkatesvara. Upon arrival you will check in at the hotel. In the afternoon we will proceed for the Darshan of Lord Balaji. Overnight will be at the hotel in Tirupati.
Day 3: Tirupati - Chennai
After breakfast at the hotel in Tirupati you will be driven back to Chennai (140 km). Upon reaching Chennai you will check in at hotel. Relax in the evening. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Chennai.
Day 4: Chennai - Mahabalipuram
Breakfast at the hotel will follow a drive to Mahabalipuram. Mahabalipuram is well known for its magnificent architecture and sculpture. Upon arrival at Mahabalipuram you will check in at hotel. Mahabalipuram is known worldwide for the Rock cut shore temples, built by the Pallava rulers. The shore temples at Mahabalipuram are also known as the seven pagodas. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 5: Mahabalipuram
After breakfast at the hotel you will proceed for sight seeing tour of the various architectural wonders at Mahabalipuram. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 6: Mahabalipuram - Tanjore
After breakfast you will be driven to Tanjore/Thanjavur (309 km -7 hr). Tanjore is yet another fascinating temple town in South India. Upon reaching Tanjore you will transfer to hotel and relax. Afterwards, you will proceed for sight seeing of the Tanjore city. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 7: Tanjore - Trichy - Tanjore
Tanjore is home to numerous temples that were built by the Chola and other rulers. The most famous of all the temples in Tanjore is the Brihedeswarar temple. After breakfast at the hotel you will be taken for a full day excursion of the Trichy City. Trichy is also a popular temple town of South India. It rose into prominence during the rule of the Chola, Pandyas and Pallava rulers. Some of the famous temples in Trichy are Ranganathaswamy Temple, Sri Jambukeswara Temple and the Rock Fort Temple. In the evening you will return back to Tanjore and relax in your hotel room. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 8: Tanjore
After breakfast at the hotel in Tanjore/Thanjavur you will set out to explore the magnificent Brihadeeshwara temple, built by the Chola rulers. Relax in the evening. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 9: Tanjore - Madurai
After breakfast at the hotel we will drive to Madurai (183 km), another temple town in South India. Upon arrival at Madurai you will transfer to hotel and relax. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Madurai.
Day 10: Madurai
Breakfast at hotel will follow a brief rest and in the afternoon you will visit the famous Madurai Meenakshi temple (dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva). In the evening we will watch the Aarti at the Meenakshi Temple. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Madurai.
Day 11: Rameshwaram
After breakfast at the hotel you will be taken for a full day excursion to Rameshwaram, a city of swell and gentle sand dunes, embellished with the delicacy of casuarinas trees and stark palms. Rameshwaram is one of the most venerated places for the followers of the Hindu faith. By evening you will return back to Madurai. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 12: Madurai - Trivandrum
Get ready to explore another fascinating destination in South India! Breakfast at the hotel follows drive to Trivandrum / Thiruvananthapuram (264 km/6 hr). Upon reaching Trivandrum late in the evening you will transfer to hotel and relax. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 13: Trivandrum
Trivandrum / Thiruvananthapuram is the capital of Kerala state. After breakfast at the hotel you will set out for a sight seeing tour visiting the Sri Padmanabha Swami Temple, Napier Museum, Chitralayam Arts Gallery, Zoological gardens, Reptile house, Observatory and Kanakakunnu Palace. Overnight stay will be at Trivandrum.
Day 14: Departure from Trivandrum
Breakfast at hotel follows transfer to airport/railway station for onward journey.
