By Air
Cochin international Airport is situated at Nedumbassery, which is about 20 km from Cochin. A number of regular flights are available from all the metro cities and other major cities of India. The airport connects to most of the international destinations. By Train
Cochin consists of three major railway stations, namely Ernakulam Junction (South stations), Ernakulam Town (North stations), and Harbor Terminus on Willingdon Island. You can very comfortably reach Kochi by rail as all of them are linked with major cities of India. The train journey offers some breathtaking vistas and natural scenery of the terrain that the trains pass by.

By Road
Cochin is one of the most important commercial cities of Kerala and thus, is well connected with all main cities and tourist sites by a network of national highways and state highways. There are three major national highways which pass through or start from Kochi. They are NH-47, NH-17, and NH-49. Bus services are also easily available. For those, who want better comfort and luxury, can hire a private bus as they are equipped with all the modern amenities.

By Boat/Ship
Of course, one can reach Cochin through a boat or a ship as well. Boat services are present in Kottayam and Alleppey. During these rides, you will come across some of the magnificent backwaters of Kerela. But, the best way to reach Cochin is through ferries; they are fast, comfortable, and inexpensive. There are two ferry stations in Ernakulam. Public ferries run every 20 minutes to Vypeen and Bolghatty Islands.
