Traveling to Begur Wildlife Sanctuary is highly convenient as it is well connected with all the modes of transport. The nearest airport is Kozhikode International Airport at a distance of 80 km, while the closest railhead is Thalassery Railway Station in Kannur, about 80 km from the sanctuary. Begur is well connected to other parts of Kerala via a wide network of roadways. The best season to visit the sanctuary is during rains that offer you a pleasant weather and make your trip worthwhile. The months from October through May are the tourist season. And if you haven't had enough from Begur Wildlife Sanctuary, drive down a little ahead to reach the breathtaking Lakkidi, mesmerizing Tusharagiri Waterfalls, or the magnificent Banasura Dam to deem your enjoyable trip complete and contented.
